The Nevada County Food & Toy Run happens every year on the 2nd Saturday in December.

The Start – Eric W. Rood Administration Center

9:00 – 11:45 AM (get directions)
- Assemble and check out all the bikes, holiday costumes and smiling faces
- Shirts, raffle tickets and run pins are available for purchase – WHILE SUPPLIES LAST!
- Free coffee, hot cider and donuts to all riders
The Procession
High Noon
Escorted procession leaves the Rood Center for a non-stop ride to the fairgrounds
The Finish – Nevada County Fairgrounds
1:00 – 3:00 PM
- Meet and Greet with Santa, kids, families and friends
- Food and toy distribution
- Vendors and a festive atmosphere
My son bought 2 stuffed bears for donation to the toy run. When and where can we get them to you for distribution?

Food and Toy Run donations can be dropped off at the Northern Mines building at the Nevada County Fairgrounds. The building is located near back entrance (Gate 4) on Friday, Dec. 7th, between 4-6:30p.m. (Look for a bunch of cars parked around the building, as we will be there setting up for Saturday’s event). Or you can drop off on Saturday morning around 11:00a.m. just before the Toy Run starts.

You can order T-shirts and pins here on the website — just click the orange DONATE button and let us know the number of shirts and pins you’d like to purchase. Be sure to include sizes too and we will send them to you. T-shirts are $25 each, pins are $5, and $10 for shipping the whole order. If you live in the area you can pick up your order, just let us know when placing your order.
Basically the ride starts at the Rood Center in Nevada City and ends at the Fairgrounds 5 miles away. Here is the link to route map.

Wanted to attend your event for years, but work has always got in the way. I’m really hoping to make it out this year. I currently hold the motorcycle world land speed record (world’s fastest motorcycle) at 376 mph with a top speed of 394. Don’t know if having a local semi-celeb in the motorcycle community would be a benefit. Love what you guys are doing. Me and my wife (Tricia) are planning to attend for the first time this year. Excited to see the kids faces and meet with fellow motorcyclists.
